#THE CNS OF CU

WELCOME

The Columbia Neuroscience Society (CNS) is an interdisciplinary community of undergraduates who are interested in exploring the frontiers of neuroscience.

We strive to facilitate communication between students and faculty, provide opportunities for learning, research, and discussion beyond what is offered in the classroom through hosting informative presentations by guest lecturers, roundtable discussions with inspiring researchers, and initiatives that bring like-minded students together. Additionally, the CNS holds an annual Research Opportunities Fair to promote hands-on engagement, an intercollegiate conference (Encephalon) featuring prominent scientists conducting cutting-edge research, and a Brain Awareness Week to promote public education and outreach as a partner to a nation-wide initiative.
Promoting diversity and inclusion
in neuroscience and beyond.
